21 Years Rogues MC RMC Chopper Show 2012

21 Years Rogues MC RMC Chopper Show

Sunday April 8th the Rogues MC organized their annual RMC Choppershow, for the 21ste time. Counting over 100 bikes, the show is by far the biggest and best Chopper Show in the Netherlands.

Not only has it the most varied kind of bikes, it’s a show that attracts the real bikers, it’s the start of the season and is sort of a reunion after the long, cold and wet Dutch winter every year. Many color clubs come to the Rogues MC RMC Chopper Show, outside there’s also lot’s of cool bikes to see and just like last year, the weather was excellent and on this sunny Sunday, standing outside with a drink in your hand, it was a great sight to see everybody arrive on their bike.

Inside the show was great, with more than100 bikes, most of them in old school chopper fashion, all of good quality and real ‘eye candy’. Rows and rows of bikes, some completely finished and ready to ride, some in various stages of build-up, over the top hot rod choppers and back to basic bobbers; all of them hand built and with great attention to detail. You could spend hours just checking out the bikes. But there was more. Stands with airbrush and leather artists, pinstriping demonstrations, club displays, and a cool Rock ‘n Roll band playing in the afternoon made the Rogues MC RMC Chopper Show complete.

What better way to spend Easter? After 21 years the Rogues MC RMC Chopper Show is still the best. The atmosphere, the friends you meet, the whole set-up of the show is great. One of the best things of the Rogues MC RMC Chopper Show is that it’s one of the very few shows that has (and keeps) its own identity. I’ts different to the usual bike shows. Here every stand has something to do with hand built bikes, you won’t find the cheap T-shirt and ‘wannabee / poser’ clothing vendors, and that’s a huge relief and a pleasant exception when you walk in the show, located in Sportcentrum De Weyver in Hoogwoud, close to the city of Opmeer in the North Western part of Holland. Enjoy the photo’s of the Rogues MC RMC Chopper Show.

This year's winner; an Ironhead Sportster chopper built by German Jorge, member of a club called Red Hill Choppers. Lots of gold and chrome, engraving, polished cases, Crazy Frank rear fender and typical Seventies style frame with the springs attached to the rear wheel axle. Cool bike and period correct, nice styling and the many details made it the 2012 winner!

This is the winner's trophy, a home built bike of course!

If you missed the show, be sure to attend the  Rogues MC RMC Chopper Show next year!

A big Thanks to the Rogues MC!
